At Hey Baby Ceramics,  I specialise in handmade mugs and quirky doll head planters.

I love to create, and previously worked as a craft tutor, in my own high street shop and in the community.
I now live in Rural Scotland, working from my home studio.

I have an eclectic style, which shows in my work, mostly featuring dolls heads.
From the design of the piece, right through to opening the kiln I enjoy the entire process. I make unique gifts and home ware items.

I learnt very quickly that with ceramics the craft requires patience, a piece can take around 4 weeks weeks from raw clay to being ready to list on my shop. Drying, firing and glazing times cannot be rushed.
A piece will be fired twice at least 2, sometimes 3 times, and each firing is 24 hours.

A lot of time and care goes in to everything I make.
